CALLISTER CHORAL ENSEMBLE
When John realized that orchestral rock required orchestral voices, he decided to form the Callister Choral Ensemble. Again, he felt how choral vocalists might interpret the arrangements, and created the choral sounds you hear.
With the help of Callie Piticco, who provided all of the higher voices, they created a very believable choir, sounding like an actual group of about ten choral singers.
The songs that feature our choir really stand out, as the vocal addition adds a lot of depth to the music. One song, 'Come to me' features a guest vocalist backed by operatic singing provided by the Callister Choral Ensemble. Although the 'Rock Opera' has been around for awhile, this song can best be described as 'Operatic Rock' which is quite unique.
